Rain is anticipated to fall in Pune and its surrounding areas beginning Thursday, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
IMD meteorologists discussed a western disturbance as well as a cyclonic circulation over west Rajasthan and surrounding regions. Similarly, they stated that a north-south trough/wind discontinuity occurs over Maharashtra’s Vidarbha and Marathwada regions. As a consequence, parts of Madhya Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh can anticipate light rain and a cloudy sky.
Senior IMD scientists said the wind discontinuity line will affect isolated areas/districts in Vidarbha, madhya Maharashtra, and Marathwada. This would result in very light-to-light rains along with thunder, lightning, and very strong winds for a short period of time.
On the other hand, thunder, lightning, and strong winds are anticipated in Pune and its surrounding areas, particularly during the afternoon and evening hours. The IMD forecasted light-to-moderate rain in isolated parts of the region from April 6 to 8.
Except for the Konkan and parts of north Maharashtra, the entire state is anticipated to experience rain, thunder, and lightning beginning Thursday.
