Delhi Temperature Likely to Rise as Weather Conditions Change
The temperature in Delhi is expected to increase in the coming days as the effect of the western disturbance gradually weakens. Weather officials said the recent spell of cooler weather and light rain helped bring temporary relief from the heat across the city. However, changing weather conditions may now lead to a steady rise in daytime temperatures.
According to meteorologists, clear skies and reduced cloud cover will allow heat levels to increase across Delhi and nearby regions. The maximum temperature may rise above normal levels during the week. Several areas in the capital already recorded warmer conditions after the western disturbance started losing its impact. People may experience hotter afternoons and dry weather as temperatures continue to climb.
Experts said strong sunlight during the daytime could further increase the temperature in Delhi. The humidity level may also rise slightly, making outdoor conditions uncomfortable during peak afternoon hours. Authorities advised residents to stay hydrated and avoid direct exposure to the sun for long periods, especially during the hottest part of the day.

Warmer Days Expected Across the Capital
The India Meteorological Department stated that no major rainfall activity is expected in Delhi over the next few days. As a result, the temperature is likely to remain high and may continue increasing gradually. Weather experts believe that the absence of strong weather systems will support dry and warm conditions in the region.
Many residents noticed a clear change in weather as mornings became warmer and afternoons felt hotter than previous days. The rise in temperature may also increase electricity demand due to greater use of cooling appliances. Health experts advised children, elderly people, and outdoor workers to take precautions against heat-related problems.
Officials continue to monitor weather patterns closely and will issue updates if conditions change. For now, Delhi is preparing for hotter days as the western disturbance fades and summer conditions strengthen across the city.
