With the addition of the View Counts feature, Twitter Will Now Display How Many Users Have Viewed Your Tweet

Users may now learn more about their audience on Twitter thanks to a new feature called View Count. The new Twitter View Count tool, as its name implies, lets you know how many people have seen your tweet. The feature is very comparable to how many times YouTube videos have been seen. Users will gain a better understanding of their reach thanks to the additional features. Elon Musk, the new owner of Twitter, claims that 90% of users merely read tweets rather than posting them or responding to them. Elon Musk personally introduced the new Twitter function in a tweet.

“Twitter is rolling out View Count, so you can see how many times a tweet has been seen! This is normal for video. Shows how much more alive Twitter is than it may seem, as over 90% of Twitter users read, but don’t tweet, reply or like, as those are public actions.” Elon Musk wrote in his tweet.

A new Views tab can now be seen below a tweet right next to Retweets, Quote tweets, and Likes. It is worth noting that the View Count feature is only available on new tweets. It is also not yet clear whether the feature counts quick scroll as a view or not.
