Kohli star batter of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Delhi Capitals (DC) pacer Ishant Sharma engaged in a playful exchange. Virat was seen playfully teasing Ishant after scoring a couple of boundaries off his bowling.
The two Indian cricket stalwarts, who have been teammates since their early days, share a strong bond both on and off the field. While Ishant has featured prominently under Kohli’s leadership in the Test format, interestingly, they have never had the opportunity to represent the same franchise in the IPL.
On one occasion,Virat edged the ball past the wicketkeeper, and with no fielder at first slip to stop it, the ball raced to the boundary. Kohli then humorously suggested to Ishant to position a slip fielder for the next ball.

In another moment, Kohli showcased his skill by hitting Ishant for a no-look six over deep wicket. However, Ishant managed to have the final say in the innings by getting Kohli out on the fourth delivery of the over.

The tables turned as Ishant took the opportunity to tease Virat back. He playfully pulled Kohli’s leg, to which Virat responded with a humble nod and a faint smile. This light-hearted banter between Virat and Ishant occurred during the 4th over of RCB’s innings, adding a touch of camaraderie to the competitive atmosphere.

Kohli and Ishant share a long history dating back to their early days playing cricket in Delhi. Notably, Ishant has also been a part of teams led by Virat in the Indian cricket setup.
