Ajay Jadeja, an intelligent cricket analyst, saw a mismatch between what Virat Kohli witnessed and how the pitch behaved throughout the game.
The former India ODI captain Ajay Jadeja said that the way the star batsman batted suggested that there weren’t many demons on the 22-yard strip, while Virat Kohli thought the Jaipur track was two-paced and made strokeplay challenging. Despite Kohli’s unbroken 113 off 72 balls, which included 12 fours and 4 sixes, RCB could only muster 183/3 in 20 overs; Jos Buttler’s 58-ball tonne helped the Rajasthan Royals reach that mark with five balls remaining.

Jadeja Questions Kohli’s Pitch Assessment
Jadeja, an excellent cricket brain, noticed a mismatch between what Kohli observed and how the surface behaved throughout the game.
“He (Kohli) started out really well. He smacked a couple of boundaries in the opening few overs, and you knew you were in for something special tonight. The only odd thing was his comment about how the deliveries were not carrying through on this pitch, but the way he batted, we saw no flaws in the pitch,” Jadeja, a ‘Jio Cinema’ IPL expert, stated.

Kohli’s Century Raises Doubts About Pitch Quality
After scoring his ninth IPL hundred, Kohli argued the pitch was not flat. “The wicket looks very different from the outside. It feels flat, but when the ball holds up on the pitch, you notice the pace changes,” Kohli told the official broadcaster on Saturday evening. Kohli’s shot-making persuaded Jadeja that the surface was flawless.
“In terms of shot-making, he smashed the ball into every area of the field. What he said led us to believe that something was wrong with the pitch, yet the way he played revealed no flaws.”

Watson Predicts Long and Fruitful IPL for Sanju Samson
Shane Watson, another Jio Cinema expert, believes that the 17th edition of the IPL could be Sanju Samson’s breakout season.
“He demonstrated intent from ball one in his own cool, calm, and composed manner. A 130 strike rate in the first ten balls indicates you’re not simply attempting to get one. You’re waiting for a loose ball, and he put it away right away, and because of his skill, he’s playing the ball on its own,” Watson said.
“If a bowler bowls a slightly loose ball, Sanju Samson scores readily due to his numerous shot alternatives. You can feel the calmness in him, and he continues to do that game after game; there is no reason he can’t have a very successful tournament.
