Gautam Gambhir to be interviewed today for Team India’s head coach

The single applicant for the position of coach for the Indian men’s team, former Test batsman Gautam Gambhir, will interview with the Cricket Advisory Committee on Tuesday via a Zoom call. After the current T20 World Cup in the USA and the West Indies, current India coach Rahul Dravid’s tenure comes to an end. The position was advertised in mid-May by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), with a deadline of May 27, the day following the IPL championship.
