F1 Bahrain Testing: Live Streaming, Full Schedule and Updates

After completing a behind-closed-doors shakedown in Barcelona, F1 moves its 2026 season preparations into the spotlight as teams arrive in Bahrain for official preseason testing.

All 11 teams will run their new cars on track together for the first time, offering the clearest early picture of which outfits have adapted fastest to the sport’s sweeping regulation changes over the next two weeks.

When does testing take place(F1 Bahrain)?

Formula 1 will hold two three-day preseason tests in Bahrain before the season opener on March 8.

The first test runs from Wednesday, February 11 to Friday, February 13. The second takes place from Wednesday, February 18 to Friday, February 20.

What time does testing start?

Each of the six remaining test days follows the same schedule, running from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. GMT. That corresponds to 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. local time in Bahrain.

Teams split each day into two four-hour sessions, separated by a one-hour break that often includes media activities.

Who is taking part?

All 11 teams will participate in the Bahrain tests for the first time this season. Williams will make its debut after skipping all five days of the Barcelona shakedown.

Teams are expected to rely heavily on their 2026 race drivers as they gather vital data on the all-new cars, where driver input plays a bigger role than ever.

How can fans watch Bahrain F1 preseason Testing?

While Formula 1 limited coverage of the Barcelona shakedown, fans will be able to watch live action from Bahrain.

During the first three days of testing, broadcasters will stream only the final hour live. Sky Sports F1 will air coverage in the UK from 3 p.m. to 4:10 p.m. on February 11, 12 and 13.

Fans can follow live timing on F1’s official website, while ESPN will provide live blog coverage from the circuit.

The second Bahrain test will feature full live coverage across all three days.

Which teams are ones to watch?

Mercedes have emerged as the early pace-setters for the 2026 season after logging strong mileage and performance. McLaren, Red Bull and Ferrari are all expected to reveal more of their true potential in Bahrain.

Aston Martin and Williams remain wildcard entries after limited running so far, despite innovative designs. Alpine and Racing Bulls have impressed among the midfield contenders, while newcomers Audi and Cadillac continue their development work.
