Shivakumar inaugurated the Yuva Nidhi scheme in Shivamogga. This initiative, which is the Congress party’s fifth electoral promise for the educated unemployed youth of Karnataka, saw a substantial turnout of thousands of individuals and youths from Shivamogga and nearby districts, along with their Cabinet colleagues.

Empowering the Unemployed
The program provides financial assistance to graduates and diploma holders who are still seeking employment, with a duration limit of up to two years. Those who enroll on the State Government’s Skill Connect portal will also receive training as part of the initiative.
