Revanth Reddy Slams KTR from the US Amid Telangana Flood Crisis

Revanth Reddy has responded to KTR’s criticism regarding the Telangana flood rescue operations by questioning why the Congress government in Telangana was unable to arrange helicopters for the rescue efforts, unlike Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, who successfully managed to deploy six choppers. Reddy’s remarks highlight the discrepancy in the resources allocated for flood relief between the two states, emphasizing the need for more effective and prompt action from the Telangana government. His comments come amidst ongoing discussions about the handling of the flood crisis and the adequacy of the response measures taken by local authorities.

As Telangana reels under devastating floods, a slugfest has broken out between Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and former minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi leader KT Rama Rao, popularly known as KTR.
KTR has questioned why the Congress government in the state could not arrange choppers for rescue work. He has drawn a comparison with adjoining Andhra Pradesh, where Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu managed to put six choppers and 10 boats on rescue duty.

“Appalling attitude by the government in handling the flood situation across the state! Situation in Khammam is even worse. There are three ministers from Khammam region but zero help to the people there. Tired of the apathy, public took to streets. They are demanding basic assistance and help.”

The public is demanding basic assistance and help from the authorities, reflecting their dissatisfaction with the government’s failure to address their needs during the crisis.

KTR’s post underscores his frustration with the government’s perceived negligence and calls attention to the urgent need for effective and immediate relief measures for the affected areas.
