Maliwal visited the Chief Minister’s residence seeking a meeting with Kejriwal earlier that morning but was denied access by his staff. Subsequently, at 9:31 AM, she contacted the police for assistance. The police diary entry initially described a confrontation between the Chief Minister and Kumar. Still, it was later corrected to identify the caller as a woman alleging Kejriwal’s involvement in the assault.
Following discussions with the Station House Officer, Maliwal accompanied the police for questioning but left the station without filing a formal complaint. Shedding light on an alleged altercation at the Chief Minister’s residence, the incident has drawn attention. Investigations are ongoing to ascertain the precise details and motivations behind the reported assault.
