Gunshots Fired at Kamala Harris’ Campaign Office in Arizona, Sparking Concerns

According to police, gunshots were fired into Kamala Harris’ campaign office in Arizona. The incident occurred after midnight, with the damage being found at the Democratic National Committee office near Southern Avenue and Priest Drive in Tempe. The Tempe Police Department confirmed the details to the New York Post.

Security Concerns Raised After Gunshots Fired at Kamala Harris’ Campaign Office

Public Information Officer Sgt. Ryan Cook stated, “No one was inside the office during the overnight hours, but this raises concerns about the safety of employees and those in the vicinity.” Detectives are currently analyzing evidence from the scene, and additional security measures have been implemented to protect staff and others in the area, according to the police.

Recent Incidents of Vandalism at Kamala Harris’ Campaign Office

Staff members arriving at the office observed what appeared to be gunshots fired through the front windows. This marks the second instance of criminal damage reported at the office in recent days. On September 16, just after midnight, the front windows were shot at with a BB gun or pellet gun, according to police. As of now, no arrests have been made in either incident, and authorities are investigating all potential motives.

Recent Security Threats Involving High-Profile Figures

This incident follows a second assassination attempt on Donald Trump. Ryan Routh, a 58-year-old resident of Hawaii, was arrested after the Secret Service discovered him hiding at Trump National Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, armed with an AK-47, a GoPro camera, and other items. At that time, the former president was golfing at the location. Routh attempted to flee in a car after the Secret Service opened fire on him and was later apprehended.
