In a shocking turn of events, Karnataka’s political landscape is ablaze with scandal as hundreds of explicit videos allegedly featuring suspended JD(S) leader Prajwal Revanna have surfaced, sparking outrage and speculation. The emergence of over 2,900 graphic videos, purportedly filmed by Revanna himself, has rocked the state just days before the Lok Sabha polls. These videos, distributed via numerous flash drives across Revanna’s constituency, have ignited controversy and cast a shadow over Karnataka’s political arena.

Whistleblower Denies Allegations, Accuses BJP Leader of Betrayal
Amidst allegations of blackmail and intrigue, local BJP leader G Devaraje Gowda claims to have accessed these videos through Prajwal’s former driver, Karthik Gowda. Devaraje asserts that he received the videos as part of his involvement in Karthik Gowda’s legal battles against the Revanna family. In letters addressed to state BJP chief BY Vijayendra and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Devaraje sounded the alarm about the potential political fallout of aligning with the JD(S) and fielding Prajwal Revanna as a candidate. He warned of these videos’ grave implications on the party’s national image if not addressed promptly.

However, Karthik Gowda, the whistleblower in this scandal, denies Devaraje Gowda’s claims of sharing the pen drive with Congress leaders. Karthik alleges that he sought legal assistance from Devaraje due to harassment from the Revanna family over a land deal but accuses Devaraje of failing to deliver on his promises of legal support. Gowda asserts that he entrusted the pen drive solely to Devaraje out of fear of repercussions from JD(S) leaders but now feels betrayed by his actions. The unfolding saga underscores Karnataka’s political landscape’s deep-seated tensions and power struggles, leaving many questions unanswered and the public demanding accountability.
