PM Modi Crosses 100 Million Instagram Followers

PM Modi achieved a historic global milestone after becoming the first world leader to cross 100 million followers on Instagram, reinforcing his unmatched digital presence. Notably, his individual follower count now exceeds the combined Instagram following of several prominent international leaders, highlighting his extraordinary global appeal. Since joining the platform in 2014, PM Modi has consistently used social media to engage citizens, share governance updates, and connect directly with audiences worldwide. Interestingly, his numbers are more than double those of Donald Trump, who currently has 43.2 million followers. Meanwhile, Prabowo Subianto holds 15 million followers, while Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva has 14.4 million. Additionally, Recep Tayyip Erdogan stands at 11.6 million and Javier Milei has 6.4 million followers, clearly reflecting a significant gap.

PM Modi Leads Indian Political Digital Space

Within India as well, PM Modi remains far ahead of other political leaders on Instagram. For instance, Yogi Adityanath follows with around 16.1 million followers, while Rahul Gandhi has approximately 12.6 million. Consequently, the numbers underline his dominance not only globally but also domestically in the digital landscape. Moreover, PM Modi’s strong digital outreach strategy continues to set benchmarks in political communication, as he actively shares policy updates, cultural moments, and international engagements that resonate with diverse audiences. Currently, PM Modi is on a two-day official visit to Israel, where he received the prestigious “Speaker of the Knesset Medal” from the Israeli Parliament, the Knesset. Authorities conferred the honour in recognition of his personal leadership in deepening strategic ties between India and Israel. During his address to the Knesset, he received a standing ovation and emphasized the centuries-old cultural and trade connections between the two nations, citing references from the Book of Esther and the Talmud.
