Gadkari acknowledged the uncertainty surrounding their government’s chances of securing a fourth term but confidently stated, “It may not be guaranteed that our government will return for a fourth term, but one thing is certain: Ramdas Athawale will become a minister.”

Athawale Seeks 10-12 Seats for RPI-A

Ramdas Athawale announced on Sunday that his party, RPI (A), an ally in the ruling Mahayuti government in Maharashtra, aims to contest 10 to 12 seats in the upcoming assembly elections. Speaking at a press conference in Nagpur, he stated that RPI-A will run on its party symbol and request three to four seats in Vidarbha, including north Nagpur, Umred, Umarkhed, and Washim. Athawale emphasized that the RPI-A has identified 18 potential seats to discuss with Mahayuti partners and expects each of the BJP, Shiv Sena, and NCP to allocate four seats from their quotas.
