N Chandrababu Naidu, the leader of the TDP, promised that his party will not make any decisions that would harm the religious interests and sensibilities of any group in society. Following the Center’s decision to file a bill on the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in the monsoon session of Parliament, Naidu vowed to investigate the elders’ recommendations on the UCC when he met with Muslim community leaders on Wednesday.

After hearing their thoughts and recommendations regarding the Uniform Civil Code, he reassure them that TDP is dedicate to defending the interests of all facets of society.

He stressed the necessity for more Muslim involvement in politics while reiterating the TDP’s commitment to safeguarding Muslim interests and Waqf properties and declared, “The TDP would put policies in place to end poverty in society once it regains power.
