In his address to the Rajya Sabha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi outlined his vision for the next five years, encapsulated in the concept of “Viksit Bharat” or developed India. Emphasizing relentless progress, he referred to this phase as “Modi 3.0,” underscoring his commitment to strengthening the foundation of the nation.
Envisioning a technologically advanced India, Modi highlighted initiatives such as employing drones in agriculture, achieving energy self-sufficiency, and revolutionizing public transportation. He also spoke of significant strides in artificial intelligence and the production of indigenous semiconductors, aiming to reduce the country’s reliance on energy imports.
The Prime Minister expressed his dedication to fostering entrepreneurship, particularly among the youth, with the goal of creating a multitude of startups across tier-2 and 3 cities. He envisioned these startups as transformative agents, providing new identities to smaller cities and driving economic growth.

While emphasizing progress, PM Modi assured that the welfare state would remain intact. Essential initiatives such as the construction of pucca houses, provision of clean water through the “nal se jal” scheme, and the drive for sanitation would persist.
In essence, Modi’s vision for Viksit Bharat encompasses technological advancement, economic empowerment through entrepreneurship, and unwavering support for the welfare of all citizens, ensuring a balanced trajectory towards progress and inclusivity.
