Pakistan hosted a quadrilateral meeting with officials from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Turkey to discuss ways to reduce tensions in the Middle East following recent conflict involving the US and Iran.

After the fall, doctors examined Dar and diagnosed a hairline fracture in his shoulder. His family confirmed that he will recover with medication and precautionary care over the next few days.

Despite the injury, Dar continued his diplomatic duties and briefed visiting leaders on Pakistan’s efforts to mediate potential talks between the United States and Iran. The visiting ministers supported Pakistan’s initiative to host peace talks in Islamabad.

During the meeting, leaders emphasized unity and agreed to take steps to prevent further military escalation in the region. They also discussed proposals to reopen the strategically important Strait of Hormuz, which Iran has blocked since late February.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump stated that the US is actively engaging in negotiations with Iran and expressed optimism about the progress.

Pakistan has positioned itself as a key mediator in the crisis, leveraging its diplomatic ties with both Washington and Tehran after weeks of behind-the-scenes negotiations.
