Regarding the allocation of seats, Abdullah stated in a press conference that the National Conference (NC) will participate in the elections independently, and there is no uncertainty about this decision.

National Conference Announces Solo Run in Lok Sabha Elections
In a fresh blow to the INDIA alliance, Farooq Abdullah, the chief of the National Conference, declared on Thursday that his party will independently contest the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. Additionally, he indicated the possibility of simultaneous Jammu and Kashmir Assembly polls. Abdullah affirmed during a press conference, “As for seat sharing, NC will contest alone, and there’s no doubt about it.”

AAP Rules Out Alliance with Congress in Punjab
In a recent development, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann declared that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) would not form an alliance with the Congress in the state. This decision follows TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee’s statement, confirming that her party, Trinamool Congress, would independently contest the Lok Sabha polls without engaging in discussions with the Congress.
