Exit Polls 2026: Hung Bengal, LDF set to lose Kerala

The 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly election exit polls have sparked strong political reactions across the state. In response, TVK leader K. A. Sengottaiyan firmly rejected the findings of multiple exit polls, stating that they do not reflect the true ground reality. He argued that the projections are inconsistent across agencies and fail to capture the scale of public support for his party. According to him, there is a significant wave in favor of TVK that the surveys have overlooked.

Sengottaiyan expressed strong confidence in party leader Vijay’s victory, asserting that he will win decisively and form the government. He claimed that the people have already made their choice and that TVK is set to secure more than 200 seats in the Assembly. He described the anticipated result as more than just an electoral win, calling it the beginning of a major political shift in Tamil Nadu.

Referring to what he termed the “Whistle Revolution,” Sengottaiyan said the moment represents a historic turning point. He compared it to landmark developments such as the Green Revolution and the White Revolution, adding that a new political wave under Vijay’s leadership is about to emerge. He emphasized that this change will not remain limited to Tamil Nadu but will gain recognition at the national and global levels.

Exit Polls Under Scrutiny

Questioning the credibility of exit polls, Sengottaiyan pointed out that similar predictions have proven inaccurate in the past. He cited examples from states like Punjab and West Bengal, where actual election outcomes differed significantly from exit poll forecasts, expressing confidence that the final results this time will contradict current projections and reflect the true support for his party.

He also highlighted the wide variation among different pollsters. While some agencies suggest a limited performance for TVK, others, including large-scale online surveys, indicate that the party could cross the 120-seat mark. According to him, such inconsistencies raise serious questions about the accuracy and reliability of exit polls.

Overall, Sengottaiyan maintained that Tamil Nadu stands on the verge of a significant political transformation. He reiterated that the people are ready for change and will give TVK a clear mandate. As the state awaits the official results, attention remains focused on whether the exit polls will prove accurate or once again be disproven by the final verdict.
