PM Modi: Congress is the Root of Corruption in Our Country
Modi accused Congress of giving Haryana to “dalals” and “damads,” subtly referencing the Gandhi family. Though he didn’t name anyone, the audience understood and applauded.
“The Congress brings corruption and nepotism wherever it goes. It has fostered corruption in the government system and is the root of it in our country,” the Prime Minister stated.
During the rally, Modi recognized a young boy in the crowd who had drawn a picture of him. He asked the boy to give it to his security team, promising to send a personal letter in return.
The Prime Minister emphasized Ambedkar’s legacy, stating that industrial growth has always driven Dalit empowerment.
“Under the BJP government, Haryana is now among the top states in agriculture and industry. Industrialization benefits the poor, farmers, and Dalits,” said PM Modi.
Voting for Haryana’s 90-member assembly is on October 5, with results counted on October 8 alongside Jammu and Kashmir.
