PM Modi and Amit Shah to attend Bhajan Lal Sharma’s oath as the new chief minister of Rajasthan

Today, December 15, 2023, is the day that Bhajan Lal Sharma, the BJP’s nominee for chief minister of Rajasthan, will take the oath of office. Deputy Chief Ministers Diya Kumari of Vidhyadhar Nagar and Bairwa of Dudu will also take an oath of office alongside Sharma.

The official orders have been released, and the oath-taking ceremony at Jaipur’s Ramnivas Bagh will start at 11 AM. Supporters will be able to watch the event at Albert Hall, which has extensive security measures in place.

The Rajasthan Chief Minister Oath Ceremony will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and BJP National President JP Nadda, among others.

Governor Kalraj Mishra will administer the oath, according to Raj Bhavan. Raj Bhavan went on to say that today’s oath-taking will only involve the two cabinet members, Diya Kumari and Prem Chand Bairwa.

Oath-taking ceremony

The Bharatpur district’s Bhajan Lal Sharma declared ahead of the oath-taking ceremony that the new Rajasthani BJP government would operate within the principles of Narendra Modi’s vision for the state and country.

“All our MLAs will work under the leadership of Modi ji to fulfil the aspirations that the people have from the BJP and take Rajasthan on the path of development,” he stated to reporters.

With a landslide victory of 115 seats in the Rajasthan Elections of 2023, the BJP swept the state and overthrew the previous Congress administration. The Congress, led by Ashok Gehlot won only 69 seats. The voting was held for 199 constituencies in the state instead of 200.
