After eight years in office, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is “not worth” the cost of strained ties with India, according to opposition leader and head of the Conservative Party Pierre Poilievre.
In addition, he declared that he would mend fences between India and Canada once he became Prime Minister of Canada.
“With the Indian government, we must maintain a professional relationship. The world’s largest democracy is found in India. Although it’s acceptable for us to disagree and hold one another accountable, we also need to maintain a professional relationship, which is what Poilievre promised to do if she were elected prime minister of this nation.

Poilievre blamed Trudeau and characterized him as “incompetent and unprofessional” for the Canadian ambassadors’ departure from India. He continued by saying that India, as well as practically all other major powers, are currently embroiled in conflict with Canada.

Poilievre said in response to allegations of vandalism at Hindu temples in Canada, “I believe that individuals who harm people or damage property at Hindu mandirs should face criminal charges, just like in any other case.”
India and Canada’s diplomatic relations deteriorated following Canadian Prime Minister
According to Justin Trudeau, there was a “potential link” between the Indian government and the assassination of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Nijjar was murdered by two unknown assailants in Canada in June outside a gurdwara.
