Black Paper released against Modi Govt. On Thursday, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge criticized the BJP-led central government for problems such as unemployment and purported bias against states not governed by the BJP in the country.

Kharge, during the launch of the party’s ‘Black Paper’ against the Central government, asserted that PM Modi avoids discussing unmet commitments such as the pledge to double farmers’ income and the promise of creating new jobs in the country.

“We are highlighting the primary concern of unemployment, a topic that the BJP consistently avoids discussing… Non-BJP states such as Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana are facing discrimination,”

The Congress party’s ‘Black Paper’ against the Centre asserts, “The Modi government’s decade-long rule has wreaked havoc on the nation’s economy, intensified unemployment, dismantled the agricultural sector, contributed to crimes against women, and perpetrated serious injustices against minority communities in the country.

The 54-page document alleges that the NDA government undermined the autonomy of crucial federal bodies such as the Election Commission and RBI, orchestrating the downfall of democratically elected governments through financial influence and power.

The document states, “During the period of ‘Anyay Kaal,’ the government compromised and undermined essential pillars of a strong democracy, including the judiciary, election commission, RBI, and media. Checks and balances were weakened, with institutions reduced to mere rubber stamps.”
