Amit Shah At Kolkata Rally : Nobody Can Stop CAA Implementation

Today, Home Minister Amit Shah asserted that the Central government will implement the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, emphasizing that no opposition can impede its execution.

Speaking at a significant rally to kick off the party’s Lok Sabha campaign, Shah strongly criticized Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on issues such as appeasement, infiltration, corruption, and political violence. He urged the public to oust her government and choose the BJP in the upcoming assembly polls. Shah commended the rally’s impressive turnout, interpreting it as a reflection of the people’s sentiments, and confidently predicted the BJP’s victory with a two-thirds majority in the state in 2026.

The BJP’s performance in the state in the 2024-Lok-Sabha-polls will create the foundation of its win in the assembly-polls,he said.

Amit Shah addressed the CAA issue, noting Mamata Banerjee’s opposition, asserting its unstoppable implementation despite the central-government’s rule framing delay. They, Mr Shah said in a reference to the intended-beneficiaries of the law,have as much a right-to-citizenship as anyone else. Aiming to set the tone for the Lok Sabha campaign, Mr. Shah addressed a rally at historic Esplanade in West-Bengal.

The party had won 18, its highest ever, of the state’s 42 seats in 2019.
