Growth Comparison: UPA vs. Present: Government sources highlight the difference in growth, noting that rural per capita monthly spending rose from ₹1,430 in 2011-12 to ₹4,122 in 2023-24, while urban spending increased from ₹2,630 to ₹6,996. Budget 2025 aims to sustain this momentum.

Halwa Ceremony & Budget Preparations: Sitharaman will kick off the final Budget 2025 preparations with the traditional halwa ceremony on Friday.
