Amrita Pandey was discovered deceased in her residence located in the Bhagalpur Jogsar police station vicinity of Bihar on Saturday, April 27. Following the report, authorities swiftly responded and commenced an inquiry. Of particular interest on social media is a WhatsApp status recently shared by Amrita before her passing. The message states, “Her life is on two boats, we made her journey smoother by sinking our own boat.”
In addition to her roles in Bhojpuri films, Amrita Pandey had a presence in various other entertainment mediums. She appeared in Hindi films, web series, TV shows, and also featured in several advertisements.

Tragic Loss of Actress Amrita Pandey
The family has disclosed that Amrita was grappling with concerns about her career and was battling depression. They shared that she was particularly distressed by her lack of work opportunities. In 2022, she tied the knot with Chandramani Jhangad, a Mumbai-based resident originally from Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, who works as an animation engineer. Despite her struggles, the family noted that Amrita was enthusiastic about her recently released web series ‘Pratishodh’.
On the evening of April 27th, the Jogsar Police received distressing information regarding a woman’s suicide at the Divyadharma Apartment in Adampur Ship Ghat. Upon entering the premises, they discovered the body of actress Amrita Pandey lying on the bed. According to statements provided by family members, Amrita’s sister had visited her room around 3:30 pm and found her hanging from a noose. Immediate efforts were made to rescue her, including cutting the noose and rushing Amrita to the nearest hospital. Unfortunately, despite these efforts, medical professionals pronounced her deceased.
