Ishita Kishore, a graduate of Delhi University who won the civil services exam 2022, is still receiving congratulations. Kishore, a Shri Ram College of Commerce Economics (Hons) graduate, passed the test with political science and international relations as her elective subjects.
It was Kishore’s third try, a 26-year-old. Her prior attempts to pass the preliminary exams were unsuccessful.
To pass the civil services exam, according to Ishita Kishore, “one has to be disciplined and sincere” in their preparations.
No matter how clever you are, she continued, if you are making the major decision to sit for the civil service exams, you must put in the hours and work.
“The trip took a very long time. I made an effort to complete 40 to 45 hours of preparation each week, she said.
She gives the following advice to applicants preparing for the civil service examinations: “Keep working hard towards your objective. Consistency and discipline are key requirements for the UPSC civil services test. Put in the number of hours you determine are appropriate. Contrast with others not at all. And if you want to succeed, you must continually review your plan.
She thanked her family for supporting her on a constant basis. She told news agency ANI, “Even though I failed the prelims twice, the sort of belief they had in me, the way they made everything easy for me…I shall be grateful to them.
She added that working for a while in the business world after graduating had aided in her preparation. “Corporate sector gave me a lot of opportunities, and the learning helped in my preparations,” she claimed.
