In a recent development, the Supreme Court has permitted MLA Abbas Ansari to participate in Mukhtar Ansari’s ‘Fatiha’ ceremony scheduled for April 10 in remembrance of his deceased father, who passed away in jail. The court has directed that authorities must transport Abbas Ansari, who is under police custody with adequate security measures, from Kasganj jail to his hometown Ghazipur. He is not allowed to enter his residence.

Under the Supreme Court’s directives, Abbas Ansari must commence his journey before 5 PM today. Police have instructions to implement stringent security measures, thoroughly screening visitors and ensuring the absence of any weapons.

Mukhtar Ansari, a former gangster who transitioned into politics, passed away due to cardiac arrest at a hospital in Banda, Uttar Pradesh, on March 28.
