Rajasthan: VHP leader attacked for stopping molestation in Hanumangarh

Tension has escalated in Rajasthan Hanumangarh district after Vishwa Hindu Parishad. (VHP) block president Satveer Saharan and several other community members were injured in a clash.

The VHP leader attacked when he tried to stop the eve-teasing. Saharan has suffered serious injuries and has referred to the district hospital for treatment. After the attack on the VHP leader, an angry mob gathered at the spot and blocked the Nohar-Ravatsar road.

According to reports, 7 to 8 youths attack the Vishwa Hindu Parishad. (VHP) leader when he stopped by the leader of Vishwa. Hindu Parishad for molesting the girls near the Ramdev temple of Nohar in the evening. Police have arrested two youths Adris and Amin.

Five people have detained while the internet has shut down. A large number of police personnel have been deploy in the area and police and district administration officials are keeping a close watch on the people.

Communal clashes continue in Rajasthan
