According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, the Prime Minister will travel to Lucknow on Friday to launch the Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit 2023.
The Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit will be officially opened by the prime minister in 2023. The press announcement also stated that he would open the Global Trade Show and introduce Invest UP 2.0.
The dates for the 2023 Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit are February 10–12, 2023. It is the government’s premier investment summit. It will bring together decision-makers, corporate titans, academics, think tanks, and world leaders to examine commercial prospects and create alliances.
UPGIS 2023 will witness participation of more than 10,000 delegates (domestic and international) from over 20 countries, generating widespread influence and will serve as a unique forum for business networking, knowledge sharing and strategic partnerships by bringing together business leaders, political and economic dignitaries, entrepreneurs, and industry associates from across the world.
The Yogi government has set a target of attracting investment intents of worth Rs 10 lakh crore at UPGIS 2023 and has come out with a new online system for signing Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and monitoring their implementation.
PM Modi will also inagurate Global Trade Show and launch Invest UP 2.0.
Investor UP 2.0 is a comprehensive, investor centric and service oriented investment ecosystem in Uttar Pradesh that endeavours to deliver relevant, well defined, standardised services to investors.
