Keeping wild animals as pets is not advised due to their unique needs and behaviours. They could also endanger humans and other domestic animals. Capturing and confining wild animals for the purpose of keeping them as pets is also harmful to wild populations and can disrupt ecosystems. It’s also illegal in a lot of places.
It is generally better for wild animals to be left in their natural habitats where they can thrive and play their necessary role in the ecosystem.
Recently, a video of a man getting attacked by lionesses kept inside a cage went viral. Going by the clip, there are two men also present inside the holding. There are numerous videos on social media of humans interacting with animals. While most of their interactions are with pets, many people enjoy taming large carnivores like tigers and lions.
And, with the advent of social media, people are willing to engage in a variety of risky stunts in order to go viral and possibly enjoy fame for a day. Some people even try to tame wild animals, but is this possible or even ethical?
A video of a group of lionesses attacking a man in their cage recently went viral on Instagram. A similar video of lionesses attacking a man while others struggled to save him had gone viral on Instagram.
The video, posted by Malik Humais, shows three lionesses attacking him while his pals try to pull him out of the way. Although the man escapes unharmed, other videos on his profile illustrate how dangerously near he frequently comes to such wild animals.
In many videos, the man is mauled by the same three lions while he is besieged and tries to escape from their cages alive. It is as bizarre and strange as it sounds.
