Railways Urges Passengers to Check Timings Before Travel

Railway officials have advised passengers to check train schedules before planning their journey. They urged devotees to stay updated through official railway platforms to avoid last-minute inconvenience. The additional trains have been introduced to manage the heavy passenger rush witnessed during the Kanwar Yatra. Authorities believe these services will make travel safer and more convenient for pilgrims. They also appealed to passengers to follow all railway guidelines while travelling.

The special train services come as several cities continue to make transport adjustments during the annual pilgrimage. In Meerut, authorities shifted bus operations from Bhainsali Bus Stand to Sohrab Gate Bus Stand due to the movement of Kanwariyas carrying Ganga water from Haridwar. The temporary changes aim to ensure smooth traffic flow and maintain public safety. Railways and local administrations are working together to facilitate hassle-free travel throughout the Kanwar Yatra period.
