Kupwara: Army Likely Kills 3 Infiltrators in Machhal, Tangdhar

The Indian Army reported that three infiltrators were likely killed in two operations along the Line of Control in Kupwara district, Jammu and Kashmir, on Thursday. One terrorist was believed to be killed in Tangdhar. While the other two were likely gunned down in the Machhal sector. The operations were launched in both sectors during the night between Wednesday and Thursday.

Launched on Wednesday night in the Kheri Mohra, Lathi, and Danthal areas around 9:30 pm, the operation encountered terrorists at approximately 11:45 pm on August 28, resulting in an exchange of gunfire near the Kheri Mohra area, according to police reports.
