The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) has released the admit cards for the Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) 2026. Registered candidates can download their admit cards by visiting the official CEED 2026 website. The last date to download the admit card is January 18, 2026, while candidates can report and rectify any discrepancies in the admit card until January 8, 2026.

IIT Bombay will conduct the CEED 2026 examination on January 18, 2026, from 9 am to 12 noon. The exam will take place in two parts—Part A from 9 am to 10 am, followed by Part B from 10 am to 12 noon.
CEED 2026 Results to Be Declared on March 4; Qualified Candidates to Complete Separate Admission Process
The institute will announce the CEED 2026 results on March 4, 2026. Candidates who qualify must apply separately to their chosen institutes and complete additional admission requirements, such as entrance tests and/or interviews, as specified by each institute.
CEED evaluates candidates’ aptitude for design by testing skills such as visual perception, drawing ability, logical reasoning, creativity, communication, and problem-solving. IIT Bombay conducts the exam as a qualifying test for admission to Master of Design (MDes) programmes at IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Jodhpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Roorkee, IIITDM Jabalpur, and IIITDM Kancheepuram, as well as PhD programmes at several IITs and design institutes.
