BJP slams Rahul Gandhi over ‘fighting Indian state’ remark

In his speech, Rahul Gandhi stated that Congress was not just opposing the BJP or RSS ideology, but was fighting the Indian state itself.

Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, and other BJP leaders strongly criticized Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s remarks on the RSS and BJP during his inaugural speech at the party’s new headquarters in Delhi.

Speaking to the media, Hardeep Singh Puri suggested that Rahul Gandhi “check his mental stability” in response to the remarks he made during the inauguration of the new ‘Indira Gandhi Bhawan’.

In his speech, Rahul Gandhi criticized RSS leader Mohan Bhagwat for claiming that people should celebrate India’s independence on the day of the Ram temple consecration rather than on August 15.

During his speech, Gandhi stated, “The current leaders in power do not honor the tricolour, do not believe in the national flag or the constitution, and have a completely different vision for India. They aim to have India governed by a secretive organization, controlled by a single person, while silencing the voices of our people.”

also emphasized that the Congress party was the only alternative to the BJP-led central government.

He further added, “The individuals in this room are experiencing a deliberate attack on their lives simply because they are part of the Congress party, and they refuse to bow down to the BJP and the RSS.”

He further elaborated, “The individuals present here are systematically targeting and attacking others, not because of anything they have done wrong, but simply because they belong to the Congress party.”

Despite facing such challenges, they refuse to surrender or align themselves with the BJP and RSS. This ongoing assault on their lives is a clear indication of the efforts to suppress those who oppose the current regime and its ideology.”
