On Friday, an explosion at the popular eatery, The Rameshwaram Cafe, in Bengaluru’s Whitefield area resulted in injuries to five individuals. Police officials suspect the cause to be a blast from an LPG cylinder. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported according to the news agency PTI. The injured have been transferred to a local hospital for treatment. Social media circulated visuals of the blast, revealing large crowds gathered in the vicinity. A video shared by ANI depicted the presence of a fire engine at the site.

Response and Investigation After Bengaluru Eatery Explosion
Following the reported explosion at The Rameshwaram Cafe, officials from the police and fire department swiftly arrived at the scene to control the fire and mitigate additional damage to the popular eatery’s premises. The Whitefield Fire Station, addressing the issue, stated to reporters, “We received a call regarding a cylinder blast at Rameshwaram cafe. We reached the location, and we are currently assessing the situation.” Forensic experts are also present at the cafe, actively examining the incident to determine the precise cause of the blast.
