Adipurush, Prabhas’ mega-budget film, is set to be released in a few days. Out of his love to Lord Ram, the producer of The Kashmir Files and Karthikeya 2 agreed to donate 10,000 complimentary tickets to Adipurush ahead of the film’s debut.
He would distribute these complimentary tickets to Telangana government schools, orphanages, and old-age homes. The producer provided a link to a Google Form where individuals could purchase tickets.
Directed by Om Raut, Adipurush will grace the screens on June 16. The film’s pre-release event in Tirupati was attended by several thousand fans from different states.
On June 7, producer Abhishek Aggarwal announced that he will donate 10,000 tickets to Prabhas’ Adipurush. He took to Twitter and wrote, “#Adipurush is a once in a lifetime movie which needs to be celebrated by one and all. Out of my devotion for Lord Shree Ram, I have decided to give 10,000+ tickets to the Government schools, Orphanages & Old Age Homes across Telangana for free. Fill the Google form with your details to avail the tickets. https://bit.ly/CelebratingAdipurush Let the chants of #JaiShreeRam reverberate in all directions (sic).”
ALL ABOUT ADIPURUSH
Written and directed by Om Raut, Adipurush is a mythological film based on Valmiki’s Ramayana. The film will feature Prabhas as Raghava and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh. Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh and Devdatta Nage will be seen as Janaki, Lakshmana and Bajrang, respectively.
Adipurush was supposed to have an early premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York. However, the premiere has now been cancelled.
