U.S. Strikes Iran for Third Night as Trump Says Deal Still ‘Possible

The U.S. strikes Iran campaign entered its third straight night as American forces targeted military sites linked to Iran’s naval operations. U.S. Central Command said the attacks aimed to weaken Iran’s ability to threaten commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz. Officials added that the operation focused on military infrastructure. According to U.S. Central Command, the latest operation hit the Bandar Abbas Naval Base. The military used Corsair unmanned surface vessels during the attack. Officials said the strikes damaged facilities used to support naval operations. They added that the mission sought to reduce Iran’s military capabilities while protecting international shipping routes.
