On a highway in Maharashtra’s Dhule district on Tuesday, a container truck struck four vehicles before ramming into a hotel, inflicting at least 10 fatalities and more than 20 injuries, according to the police.
According to a police officer, the accident happened at roughly 10.45 am close to Palasner hamlet on the Mumbai-Agra route in the Dhule district, which is more than 300 miles from the state capital.
The truck’s brakes failed, causing the driver to lose control of the wheels. It struck a car, a container, two motorcycles, and two more vehicles from the rear.
The truck then crashed into a motel next to a bus stop on the highway, according to him, before flipping over.The official reported that “at least 10 people were kill and more than 20 injured.”The truck was travelling from Madhya Pradesh to Dhule.Some of people waiting for a bus at the stop were among the fatalities, he claimed.The cops arrived at the scene quickly after being inform.According to the police, the injured people were take urgently to hospitals in Shirpur and Dhule.
A man was crush to death by a container truck at Zero Point of the Nagpur-Mumbai Samruddhi Expressway, while his father suffered grievous injuries. Krishna Yadav (35) and Atmaram Yadav (56), both natives of Chhattisgarh, were involve in cutting grass along the expressway.
A speeding container hit the vehicle, causing Krishna to die while undergoing treatment at AIIMS. Atmaram’s father is critically injured. A case has been register under the Indian Penal Code and Motor Vehicles Act provisions, and efforts are being make to trace the driver who fled the scene.
