During the presentation of Maharashtra’s budget for 2024, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar announced the launch of the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana. The scheme, which is set to roll out in July 2024, will provide monthly financial assistance of INR 1500 to eligible women.

The primary objective of the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana is to empower women economically and socially. The scheme aims to provide financial independence, support higher education, and ensure access to clean cooking fuel.
