Royal Farewell for IAS Officer Sanskriti Jain in Seoni

IAS officer Sanskriti Jain received a grand farewell as she left her post as Collector of Seoni district in Madhya Pradesh to take up a new role in Bhopal. In a unique gesture, the staff carried her on a beautifully decorated golden palanquin, with her two young daughters seated beside her. The emotional ceremony drew attention for its royal style send-off.

The event took place over the weekend, with the administration also welcoming the district’s new collector, Sheetala Patle. The staff and officials organised the program to express their appreciation for Jain’s work and leadership during her time in Seoni.

Sanskriti Jain Shines from Air Force Kid to IAS Topper

Born on 14 February 1989 in Srinagar, Sanskriti Jain grew up in an Air Force family and studied in six schools across India. She graduated from BITS Pilani (Goa), joined the LAMP Fellowship, and later cleared the UPSC exam with AIR 11 in 2014. She topped Philosophy that year. A 2015-batch IAS officer, she has served as SDM Mauganj, CEO in Alirajpur and Narmadapuram, and Commissioner of Rewa.
