Vice President: Go To Courts Instead of Protesting On Streets

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar stated that he has cleansed the nation’s governance system and rendered influential intermediaries ineffective.

On Monday, Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar encouraged people to have faith in the nation’s judicial system instead of taking to the streets when confronting legal problems. He emphasized that he had cleansed the country’s governance mechanism and rendered power brokers ineffective.

During a day-long visit to Cotton University in Guwahati, Mr. Dhankhar declared, “Whenever the judiciary or investigative agencies serve them with a summons, certain individuals come out on the streets.”

“We have a robust judicial system, why don’t we avail it? Our courts have performed so wonderfully,” he said.

The Vice-President stated that the current regime has weeded out corruption from the system.

“I have seen times when people thought that the law could not reach certain individuals, brokers were ubiquitous, and corruption was rampant. But these times are now over.

“There was a time when power brokers and corrupt elements infested our power corridors and governing system. These corridors have now been sanitised and brokers neutralised,” he added.

Asserting that ordinary citizens and students will benefit the most from the present circumstances, he encouraged young people to actively participate in nation-building across various domains.

He said India’s growth has not gone down well with some sections and called upon students to defeat such forces.

“Bharat’s voice is on top globally now and it is not suiting many…it is our duty to neutralise anti-Bharat narratives,” he added.
