United States Expresses Concern after Stabbing of Indian Student

The United States State Department extended well wishes for Varun’s full recovery and referred all inquiries regarding the ongoing case to local law enforcement.

Varun Raj Pucha, originally from Telangana, India, became a victim of a harrowing head-stabbing incident while at an Indiana gym. He currently remains in critical condition, receiving life-saving care at a hospital.
