Speculation Grows Over Akshaye Khanna’s Exit After Drishyam 3 Release Update

Ajay Devgn will reprise his iconic role as Vijay Salgaonkar in Drishyam 3. The makers announced on Monday that the film will release worldwide on October 2, 2026.

Drishyam 3 Announcement Fuels Speculation Over Akshaye Khanna’s Exit

Earlier in the day, NDTV sources revealed that Akshaye Khanna has exited the project due to salary disagreements. The Drishyam 3 release date announcement, shared two days earlier, subtly hinted at his absence. His name did not appear in the cast list.

Akshaye Khanna is not active on social media. However, the announcement caption tagged the cast and used hashtags for those without social media accounts. Notably, the post did not mention his name. He also did not appear in the announcement video, which further fuelled speculation about his exit.
