PM Modi Calls Maha Kumbh ‘Yagya of Unity,’ Praises Yogi Govt

PM Narendra Modi, in a blog post on Thursday, praised Maha Kumbh 2025 as a ‘Maha Yagya of Unity.’ The 45-day-long religious festival concluded with the grand ‘Shahi Snan’ on the occasion of Mahashivratri.

The PM performed a holy dip at Triveni Sangam, where the rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati converge, on February 5. In his message, he described the Maha Kumbh as a grand spiritual gathering that strengthens the unity and cultural heritage of India. He stated, “Maha Kumbh has concluded. The Maha Yagya of unity has ended, leaving behind a legacy of faith and devotion.” He emphasized that when a nation awakens with renewed consciousness, it breaks free from centuries of mental slavery and embraces spiritual resurgence. He further added that such profound moments were witnessed in Prayagraj after January 13, reflecting the country’s cultural and spiritual strength.

PM Modi Reflects on the Ram Temple Consecration

Reflecting on the grand consecration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, which he attended last year, PM Modi shared his thoughts on the spiritual and cultural significance of the event. He stated, “On January 22, 2024, I spoke about devotion and patriotism, emphasizing the deep connection between faith and the nation’s progress.” He highlighted how the consecration of the temple was not just a religious moment but also a symbol of India’s cultural resurgence and unity. During the Maha Kumbh, he noted, countless deities, saints, children, elders, women, and youth gathered, creating a divine atmosphere of devotion and spirituality. This massive congregation, he said, was a testament to the nation’s awakened consciousness, showcasing how faith continues to unite people beyond boundaries. He further emphasized that such events reflect the strength of India’s traditions and the unwavering belief of its people in their heritage.
