This time, the Indian cricketers will not participate in open bus parades as they will arrive individually in different cities. India’s captain Rohit Sharma and all-rounder Hardik Pandya received a hero’s welcome at Mumbai airport on Monday night. Head coach Gautam Gambhir and fast bowler Harshit Rana reached New Delhi, while star batter Virat Kohli will arrive soon The players had also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi following their return from Barbados via a special flight back in July.

India got the better of New Zealand in Champions Trophy final
Rohit Sharma won Player of the Match for his outstanding performance in the final. He scored an impressive 76 runs off 83 balls, including seven boundaries and three sixes.
New Zealand won the toss and chose to bat first.
The Kiwis got off to a strong start with a 57-run partnership between Will Young (15) and Rachin Ravindra (37 from 29 balls, including four boundaries and a six). However, Kuldeep Yadav (2/40) slowed their progress, reducing New Zealand to 75/3.
A 57-run partnership between Daryl Mitchell (63 from 101 balls, with three fours) and Michael Bracewell helped push the Kiwis past 150 runs. Bracewell contributed an unbeaten 53* from 40 balls, hitting three fours and two sixes, guiding New Zealand to a total of 251/7 in their 50 overs.
Kuldeep (2/40) and Varun Chakravarthy (2/45) were the top wicket-takers for India. Mohammed Shami also took a wicket, but conceded 74 runs in his nine overs.
