For many Indians working abroad, a key sign of success is showing their parents the life they have built in another country. Instagram content creator Mayur, who works in Scotland, recently experienced this emotional moment and shared a video online. He took his parents to his workplace, where they interacted with his colleagues. “Seeing my parents walk through my workplace in another country and feel such peace and pride overwhelmed me. Their happiness from meeting my colleagues and knowing that I am respected, valued, and surrounded by kind people is my biggest achievement,” Mayur wrote in an Instagram post.

The video begins with a text overlay saying, “2025 in Scotland. This is how proud parents look like,” showing Mayur standing with his parents in front of a helicopter. In the video, he asks his mom, “So, how did you feel after visiting the office?” She responds, “I felt really good,” adding, “The company is really nice.” His dad also joins in, sharing that he feels fantastic after the visit.

His mom praises the company, saying, “The colleagues are so kind. Now we don’t have to worry about you at all. They take care of you like family.” His dad agrees, adding, “You’re lucky to have such a team.” The video ends with him giving a thumbs-up and saying, “Go ahead.” A clip also shows his parents smiling inside the helicopter. Social media users responded warmly, with comments like, “Bhai, this reel genuinely made me proud as a stranger. I can only imagine how proud your parents must feel.
