A senior Indian lawyer faced mockery on Reddit after posting a photo from an Emirates flight, leading users to assume he flew first-class.
The lawyer, a law firm partner, posted on LinkedIn, “Always FIRST. Emirates and beyond life,” with a photo of a meal and Evian water on the flight.
The tray table, draped in a white tablecloth, held a plate of sandwiches and a glass of drink.
After deleting his LinkedIn post due to Reddit mockery, the lawyer told HT.com the photo wasn’t from his flight.
He stated, “It’s factually incorrect; it’s a shared photo,” preferring to remain anonymous.
A few days prior, he shared another LinkedIn post featuring a view from an Emirates flight.
The lawyer wrote in the caption, “Always FIRST CLASS! Calling home!”
Redditors had a field day analyzing the now-deleted post, with many mocking it as the digital version of self-congratulation.
One user commented, “Bragging about a dry sandwich.”
Another said, “First class, yet the sandwich is still mediocre.”
A third joked, “Knife and fork for the driest sandwich ever.”

First Class or Business Class
Several sharp-eyed users, however, pointed out that the photo does not appear to be from a first flight and that it may not even be a recent photo.
“I am almost certain, that this is Business class for emirates and not first Can someone confirm?” a user said.
“Emirates 1st class doesn’t look like that anymore,” another person commented.
