At least eight private schools in Gurugram received bomb threat emails early Wednesday, triggering security alerts and campus searches.
Police teams, along with sniffer dogs and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), were deployed to carry out thorough checks.
Schools that received the threats included Kunskapsskolan School in DLF Phase-1, Lancer’s School in Sector 53, Pathways World School in Badshahpur, and Heritage Xperiential Learning School in Sector 64, among others.
The district administration said security protocols were immediately activated and the situation is being closely monitored.

No suspicious objects found; schools assure parents of safety
Schools told parents in messages that the threatening emails appeared to be hoaxes, informed the police immediately, and prioritised student safety.
As the searches took time, the schools suspended bus services and sent back students who had arrived, asking parents to collect them from designated points.
School officials said they kept students calm and under supervision during the checks and reported no panic on the campuses.
Police later confirmed that they found no suspicious objects during the initial inspections and that they were continuing precautionary measures as per protocol.
Gurugram police spokesperson Sandeep Kumar said the cybercrime unit is tracing the source of the emails and analysing their origin. Authorities urged parents and residents not to panic, stressing that the situation is under control. Due to cold weather and prolonged screening, at least one school declared a holiday, citing safety concerns for students.
