A major disruption occurred at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport after a malfunction in the ATC Automatic Message Switching System (AMSS). The glitch, which began Thursday afternoon, affected data flow to the Auto Track System (ATS) that supports flight operations. Officials confirmed that over 400 flights faced delays on Friday morning due to the ongoing technical snag. Air traffic controllers prepared flight plans manually, slowing operations and creating congestion across multiple terminals. The situation led to departure delays of up to 53 minutes during peak morning hours.
